{"id":61,"date":"2009-04-01T12:50:32","date_gmt":"2009-04-01T17:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.perfectevents.com\/?p=61"},"modified":"2009-06-29T15:05:45","modified_gmt":"2009-06-29T20:05:45","slug":"donna-and-mikes-wedding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.perfectevents.com\/?p=61","title":{"rendered":"Donna and Mike&#8217;s Wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_152\" style=\"width: 76px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-152\" class=\"size-full wp-image-152\" title=\"503006764_txgmi-ti1\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.perfectevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/503006764_txgmi-ti1.jpg\" alt=\"Photography by Meredith Rowlan\" width=\"66\" height=\"100\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-152\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photography by Meredith Rowlan<\/p><\/div>\n<p>During the past few months\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.perfectevents.com\/\">Perfect Events Music <\/a>had the great pleasure of working with\u00a0the one of the most delightful and beautiful brides to be!\u00a0 Donna&#8217;s wedding reception was held March 21st in the Ridgely Ball Room\u00a0at the historic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetutwilerhotel.com\/\">Tutwiler Hotel<\/a> in downtown Birmingham.\u00a0 The band she chose was our very own <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perfectevents.com\/artists.htm\">Deja Blue Band<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-154\" title=\"503037405_zplaq-ti1\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.perfectevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/503037405_zplaq-ti1.jpg\" alt=\"503037405_zplaq-ti1\" width=\"66\" height=\"100\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Donna gave us a most positive review:\u00a0\u00a0 <em>&#8220;Deja Blue was excellent!\u00a0 There are no words to describe how much fun we had.\u00a0 Tina, the vocalist, was a doll and could sing like you cannot imagine.\u00a0 It was wonderful to see (the band) read the crowd and conduct their music accordingly instead of just staying with a &#8216;playlist.&#8217;\u00a0 We have been told by so many that it was the best party they have ever attended!&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<p>As so often is the case with brides,\u00a0Donna didn&#8217;t have much opportunity to eat, but by all reports the food (provided by The Tutwiler&#8217;s Icon restaurant) was excellent.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-155\" title=\"503623949_nwtez-ti\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.perfectevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/503623949_nwtez-ti.jpg\" alt=\"503623949_nwtez-ti\" width=\"100\" height=\"66\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve had the opportunity to provide music for many events at the Tutwiler, including wedding ceremonies, receptions, and more.\u00a0\u00a0In doing so, we naturally have a lot of interaction with their primary\u00a0&#8220;point person,&#8221;\u00a0Patricia Conrad.\u00a0 In\u00a0the role of do-it-all events manager, Patricia\u00a0does an excellent job of planning, overseeing catering, set-up, and coordinating.\u00a0 We&#8217;re lucky to count her as a colleague!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-156\" title=\"503054029_rnn7l-ti\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.perfectevents.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/503054029_rnn7l-ti.jpg\" alt=\"503054029_rnn7l-ti\" width=\"100\" height=\"75\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For\u00a0the new couple\u00a0Donna &amp; Mike: Best wishes for a long and happy life together!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the past few months\u00a0Perfect Events Music had the great pleasure of working with\u00a0the one of the most delightful and beautiful brides to be!\u00a0 Donna&#8217;s wedding reception was held March 21st in the Ridgely Ball Room\u00a0at the historic Tutwiler Hotel in downtown Birmingham.\u00a0 The band she chose was our very own Deja Blue Band.
